Adult Small Boat Level 3

Having completed Level 2, you're ready to push your sailing to a new level — and this is where things really start to get exciting.

​

Over four weeks, you'll build on your existing skills and begin exploring more advanced concepts aboard our RS Quests. Level 3 opens the door to two key areas of development: racing and high-performance boat handling.

​

For those interested in racing, you'll be introduced to tactics, speed, and race processes — giving you a solid foundation to compete confidently on the water. For those who prefer to focus on boat handling, we'll work on pushing the boats to their limits and refining your overall control and technique.

​

Level 3 also marks your introduction to spinnaker sailing. You'll get your first experience with the spinnaker during the course, but please note that a dedicated full-day Spinnaker Clinic is required to receive your official spinnaker sailing endorsement. This clinic must be completed after finishing all four days of Level 3.

Classes run on Sunday mornings from 9:30AM to 12:30PM or afternoons from 3:00PM to 6:00PM depending on the weather forecast — one 3-hour lesson per week. Attendance at all four lessons is required to ensure you are fully prepared to progress to our racing fleet and compete in the Panama Sailing League.
