Description

If you are looking to learn how to sail on a more stable platform, small keelboats might be the way to go for you. This type of boat has a weighted keel that counter-balances the force on the sails. This is a 2-day course, 16-hour total, after which we offer private lessons to prepare you for the basic keelboat certification exam.

If student signs-up alone, SMAP will find another students to join in for the lesson of the day.

The practical component, or the hands-on sailing, takes place on our 24′ HUNTER keelboat. The goal of this course is thorough introduction to sailing and big step towards US Sailing Basic Keelboat Certification.
