Please note that an annual enrollment fee is applicable to support administrative processes, maintain our high-quality standards, and provide essential resources for your sailing experience. What you need to know about Applying All applications are handled online on this site. If you are unable to apply online, we will be more than happy to help you fill out your application over the phone. No payment is due with your application and submission of the application is not a guarantee that space is available in the class/session appropriate for you. Payment and final registration will be due once your application has been admitted or a student is placed in a class.
When you apply and pay the annual enrollment fee, you automatically become a member of SMAP Club..CLUB SEA MASTERS SAILING, officially registered in PANDEPORTES, with the goal of promoting sailing in Panama. Your annual tuition payment becomes an investment that strengthens the initiative that grows the sport of sailing throughout the country. Together, we are providing boaters with a solid foundation of skills to enjoy on the water for a lifetime..
Your enrollment fee contributes to - Maintain a standard for instruction and "coaching" in Panama that ensures that all boaters learn safely and with fun in a high-quality environment. - Certify, under the US SAILING standard, race officials, judges and referees to guarantee the integrity and progress of the sport of competitive sailing. - Maintain the website and technological platform that involve and support our members, volunteers and other people interested in sailing. - Maintenance of boats, equipment and access ramp to the water. - Increase in the current fleet of boats and equipment of the Club. - Support the Youth Sailing Program, and allow us to introduce more local youngsters to sailing, offering them a fun and active way to develop themselves and broaden their horizon.

As a member organization of US Sailing, SMAP provides the highest standard of quality instruction when it comes to sailing and recreational powerboating. We have successful programs such as the Learn-to-Sail program that is carried out under the highest safety standard. SMAP members enjoy preferential prices on all of our courses and classes. All affiliated members have use of SMAP Dinghies according to the following terms:

Use of any dinghy must be by prearranged and approved by the SMAP dinghy program Manager

Sailing skills will be assessed, regarding the use of sailing equipment and lessons may be required.

Rental fee apply with a discount from the regular price

Junior members and sailors up to 18:
-
Junior members must be enrolled in a sailing program in order to use SMAP equipment
-
Junior members with their own equipment cannot sail unsupervised and must also be enrolled in an SMAP Dinghy Program at a reduced rate

Sailor code of conduct and parent code of conduct rules apply

The Manager of SMAP Dinghy Sailing Program must authorized Junior membership

Apply by filling out the online application form. Click on the button below and choose the tuition option that best suits you. Once your application is accepted and approved, a visit to the facilities will be coordinated for a brief interview where you will receive all the information and regulations of your membership. You must fill out some forms such as Disclaimer, Medical Form, among others.
